This tensioner does not fit the 2013 BMW x3 engine. It is about a quarter inch shorter.

When I ordered this chain tensioner, it said it does not for my 2011 328xi drive, but I saw a review saying it fit their e90 n52 engine. So I bought it and it fits perfect! No issues. Not sure why Amazon said it doesn’t fit my 2011 328xi drive, but it fits perfect and I compared it to the original tensioner and they are the same.

Perfect fit to replace the timing chain tensioner in the N52 engine. I've had it in for about 2 months. It was an easy install and so far no problems.
