I bought this so I could spray my solar panels. They get dusty and dirt, clean to them about once a month. The sprayer is very handy as you knock it on your hose and use it to spray the solution and as a dial where you can switch it over to water only to rinse. With the good water pressure, it shoots considerably far and is handy because you don’t have to change hose ends.

Pro is it seems to clean and dry spotless. Con - the spray is very weak for wetting (2') and only slightly better for soaping (4'). Not useful to clean solar panels. Also in my delivery the container was soapy so that the label was detached and there was a wet spot on the carton. Surprisingly the (inadequate) brown paper padding was not wet so possibly the container was put into the carton wet / soapy?

I have previously used a bucket and sponge brush. I tried this last time. Really cleans my solar panels. Far less effort too.

I have 12 solar panels in need of cleaning. I purchased this Solar Panel Cleaner Concentrate and being that this is the first time I am attempting to clean the panels I first followed the manufacturer's instructions that are printed on the bottle. They say to simply spray on the concentrate and let the panels dry to a nice clean shine. No, this left only a muddy mess on the panels. The method I used that gave me the best results are:1. Using your garden hose spray the solar panels to remove most of the built up dust and dirt.2. Spray on the Solar Panel Cleaner Concentrate using the included container attached to your garden hose. This will cover the panels with a rich foam.3. Use a long handled window cleaning brush with a soft microfiber brush to gently scrub the foam covered dirt.4. Lastly, use your garden hose again and rinse the panels with plain water.The end result was very clean solar panels, and with no water spots.

So what little spray distance that I was able to get only reached the bottom half the lowest panel. Hmmm. Seems a ladder is in order. Well, I didn't do the math. What didn't reach the top panels from the ground STILL didn't reach the top panels from a ladder the height of the gutter line.Now I have purchased other "window cleaners" that comes in the same hose nozzle configuration (blue, streak free, rhymes with "BinBex") and it reached the top panel an BEYOND. They worked pretty well.This product was recommended by my roof guy. Ironically, as I was up on the ladder cursing out this product I noticed that his crewed failed to clean the gutter below the solar panels two weeks ago (after a $400 roof and gutter cleaning). (Insert shoulder shrug here).Again...don't buy this product unless you have ground-based solar panels. And if you do have panels on the ground, go get a bucket of hot soapy water and scrub them yourself! This product is WAY over priced!

They were filthy but this stuff with a little scrub worked great. Now will get the gallon the use regularly with the pressure washer.

This is a GREAT solar panel cleaner? I have used it twice to clean my panels and you just spray it on them and rinse. You don't even have to rinse good and it dries clear and shiny. I do scrub mine with a very soft panel brush but you don't have to do that either. It rained a little just after the last time I cleaned them and instead of spotting them it actually made them shiny clear again. I highly recommend this cleaner. Also, you can buy it by the gallon and just refill the dispenser bottle so don't dispose of that bottle once you use it all. I have 15 panels and it gives me 2 cleanings.
