Not sure what to say other than these work great. They seem sturdy and strong, and I'm able to cut through large branches thanks to the ratcheting mechanism and leverage that the adjusting handles gives me. I also love the protective cover they provide.Hard to say how these will hold-up over the years, but I absolutely love them based on the 3 or so times I've used them since I got them.

The Barnel BR7000 ratchet loppers worked fine for six months then the ratchet mechanism broke. Unfortunately, this was the only part on the product that wasn’t replaceable. Barnel told me there was no warranty on their product and that they would not replace them. So much for their highly touted quality and customer commitment. If there were a ‘zero’ star rating that’s what I’d give them!

Have a ton of trimming to do and with age I can't reach as high and do not have the strength to trim.. While I got these for myself, once they were here my husband took them and did all the trimming and was really happy with them.... I have the hand pruners and love them, which led me to these.....

Worked for an hour and then the arm bent.Edit: Lowered my rating because when I returned the loppers to the vendor for a refund they returned them saying that they couldn't refund.a used item. They told me to contact the manufacturer directly. I won't purchase anything from this vendor again.
