Carbon fiber friction material has a very high tolerance for heat making it an ideal choice for street or track. Drive plates are made from tempered steel and quality checked for flatness. All complete clutch kits are pre-measured for proper stack height to ensure smooth, reliable performance right out of the box. Kit includes 8 carbon fiber friction plates and 7 steel drive plates. Made USA.

My first experience with a Barnett Clutch was in my 1986 Yamaha FJ1200 - a Torquey Velvet Sledgehammer of an Engine. Replaced the slipping OEM Clutch and never looked back. Easy to modulate and grips like a Vice when you want it to. The same can be said for this Barnett Clutch I installed in my 2011 BMW K1300S, an even more (~50% more) Torquey Velvet Sledgehammer of an Engine. Glad I upgraded to Barnett!

BMW went thru 6 different versions of this wet clutch during the run of the K1200/1300 bikes (transverse four cyl), mostly upgrades and improvements (increases) to the oil flow to the clutch plates on the OEM clutch. And they never really got it sorted. These plates (Barnett) do the job. My OEM plates quit on a ride 300 miles from home. Had to have it trailered home. The Good News is that the clutch is very easy to replace on this bike. It's a 2 hour job on the side stand in the driveway. You will need a NEW set of the clutch cover screws (aluminum "stretch" screws, pic#5), a spanner wrench (pic#2, $52 on fleabay) to hold the clutch basket while you remove and install (retorque) the shaft nut, and the last version of the two-groove clutch pushrod (increased oil flow, pic#1). You can reuse the clutch cover gasket IF you are careful removing the cover.

Fit my 2008 BMW R1200S; About 30,000 mi ago I replace this clutch set for the first time, dealer wanted to replace the whole basket for $2,400.00, I didn't want to spend that money so with the help of YouTube I di it my self. Now I had to replace it again, this time it feels much smoother than what I can remember from the previous time, I highly recommended, great value for your money.

After beginning to fight with the bike trying to find neutral, and holding a full-on brake just to keep it from still pulling in first gear, with the clutch fully depressed, I was done. I was told by, ahem, that this was "normal" for the bikes as the years added, just start dropping into neutral when approaching a stop. Yes, normal for a worn out clutch requiring over $1500 just for the laminar (clutch) pack alone, at the local dealer service -- uh, no. And no, not going to accommodate putting my life at risk any more. This clutch pack fit perfectly. As one other reviewer mentioned, the plates go in only one direction. And in our case, we reused the clutch spring and ring that were part of the original install, inside the clutch basket. When removing the old plate cluster we discovered the first and last friction plates totally worn down to metal. No wonder the problems, and happy to be replacing with something new and QUALITY.Definitely soak the new cluster in oil for a bit, the oil resists adhering to the friction pads initially.New clutch installed, neutral is so easy to slip into now, and the friction zone is at the top, probably like it was when the bike was new. Extremely pleased, at a fraction of the cost.Highly recommended, 2 thumbs up!

Clutch from Barnett is better than new K1300S Clutch and for Half Price! Really Great and i am surprised and fully satisfied. Fast Shipping from US to Slovakia - Europe Union, takes 7 days, nice package including manual and Sticker. Thanks!

Just installed in my 2006 K1200s over the weekend and it feels like new! I recommend doing all your research before tackling the job, you need to know what you're doing. But they fit like a glove and work perfectly for a great price!
