Came without any protective covering as described and looked like it was a used or returned item with tiny chips along the edges and scuff marks on the bottom. Exchanged but the 2nd set came in the same condition, so had to make another return. Not worth the time and hassle. Otherwise, tables had a good weight and thickness to them.

The tables are beautifully made. My only complaint is they should each be about 3 to 4 inches taller for better usage of all the tables. The size gap between the first two tables is larger than the size gap between the last two tables. Taller tables would be more functional in my opinion. I'm keeping them for now, but wishing they were taller.
