Game day ready glove oil
Made In USA Baseball Glove Oil Kit

Elevate your game with Worldwide Aromas' Premium Baseball & Softball Glove Oil & Leather Conditioner

Our expert blend of Pure Castor Oil & Vitamin E is designed to soften, condition, and prolong the life of your baseball or softball glove, ensuring it stays game-ready catch after game winning catch.

Adding Oil to Your Glove:

  1. Clean the Glove: Wipe down your glove to remove dust and debris.
  2. Apply Oil Sparingly: Pour a small amount of glove oil onto the clean microfiber cloth. Less is more; you don't want to oversaturate the leather.
  3. Even Distribution: Gently rub the oil into the glove, focusing on areas that require more flexibility, such as the pocket and webbing. Avoid applying oil to the glove's laces or inside padding to prevent weakening the leather.
  4. Let it Rest: After application, let the glove sit overnight in a cool, dry place to allow the oil to fully penetrate the leather.
  5. Wipe Off Excess: If there’s any excess oil the next day, lightly wipe it off with a clean cloth.

Using the Included Break In Bands:

  1. Position the Baseball: Place a baseball in the pocket of the glove where you'd naturally catch the ball.
  2. Secure with Bands: Take the included 2 break-in bands and cross them over the glove, like an x, with the baseball inside, to mimic the folded position of a closed glove. Adjust the bands to apply a firm but not overly tight pressure.
  3. Leave to Set: Allow the glove to sit with the bands on for at least 24 hours. This helps create and maintain the shape of the pocket around the baseball.
  4. Work the Glove: After removing the bands, spend some time manually flexing and opening the glove to work in the shape and ensure flexibility.

Note: Conduct a patch test on a small area of the mitt before full application to ensure compatibility. May darken certain leathers. Not suitable for Suede or Nubuck Leather. Let your glove capture every catch with MVP-worthy care!

My 3 boys were struggling with their new stiff baseball gloves. This worked really well to help break them in and make it more flexible. The bands to hold it tight were helpful too.

Every kid raised in the 1950s who wanted to play baseball knew how to "break in" a brand new baseball glove or "mitt". You rubbed in some lanolin, put a baseball inside the glove to make a "pocket", then you wrapped the whole thing tight with rubber bands and let it sit for 2 weeks. Well, this item gives you an opportunity to do the same thing, but using 21st century technology. OK, only kidding, that "technology" is really just special elastic bands and a microfiber cloth, but the glove oil is very much like the conditioning agent used by the "old guys". With this kit you can prepare your glove like they did back in the days when there were no teams past the Mississippi River!

$19.95Good quality glove oil. Nice and thick and applies well resulting in a nice soft glove. The viscosity results in a nice durable application.

It is a bit difficult to review this product critically as it is such a basic substance. The glove oil is essentially castor oil, which is colorless; it seems thicker than other glove oil I have used, but that is not a negative. It also has no apparent odor that I could detect. The instructions say to put a bit on the included microfiber cloth, then rub/work it into the glove leather. I tried that, but it appeared that it would take more time than I wanted to spend to completely cover the entire glove surface. So, I just squirted some oil directly on the glove itself and then worked it in with the cloth, performing this multiple times, which worked just fine. Keep in mind that this product is NOT recommended for Suede or Nubuck fabrics. The total volume of 8 ounces seems sufficient for multiple applications, as my glove used less than one ounce total. Of course I was not breaking in a new glove, simply reworking an existing glove to maintain its suppleness. The microfiber cloth is about 12 inches square, so of adequate size for this application. While I did not need to use the also included two rubber bands for conditioning a new glove pocket, they seem strong and satisfactory for this purpose. The product packaging is nothing more than a Ziploc bag (no box) so you will have to store the cloth and bands either inside the bag with the bottle or in another container. Once the cloth is used it is quite oily so perhaps another bag dedicated to it would be appropriate. Overall, the product worked well and did its job.

The rubber band to bind the glove is thick and durable, yet this seems like it could be cheaper. The oil seems ok and you could get by probably just as well with baby oil. I say average overall so 3 stars.

The Baseball Glove Break-in Oil is much thicker than neetsfoot oil and does a better job of softening and reconditioning an older glove. The kit comes with Microfiber Wipe & Break in Bands. I chose not to use the microfiber cloth, instead I just put a little oil on the mitt and rubbed it in with my hands. In this way I feel that I got the oil in deeper. The result was a soft, malleable mitt wiyth a great pocket. I did the glove twice and used less thsn a wuarter of the bottle…a great value;: especially when compared to neetsfoot oil. This oil is definitely something you want in your accessory kit.RPc for Softball & Baseball Mitts, Large 8oz Bottle

I used this product on grandson’s glove. Easy to apply and with the two supplied rubber bands easy to mold the glove after applying oil. A little goes a long way, so this bottle should last a while.Good product.
