These duck bill valves never held a vacuum and when i removed them after just a couple of weeks they were disfigured badly. Very poor product

this product is weak and has failed after only three months pumping toilet waste all in my bilges.very disappointing and a horrible mess to clean up.Not buying again under any circumstances.

I installed these two weeks ago. They have already failed. Went back to Dometic branded duckbills.

Looks to fit perfectly, if you’re mechanically inclined the rebuild should be a no brainer. I finished In about 30 mins. doesn’t look like the best quality, but after assembling I put the pump on a bench and hooked up a 12v battery to the motor and it did look to be generating a vacuum, when placing my hands on the suction and discharge of the pump I could feel it sucking from the suction side and pushing air out the discharge fairly well, hopefully when it’s in use it lasts. Fingers crossed, the price for OEM is outrageous, some at $250, so at the price i figured it’s worth a shot, then I could just order another one to keep on the RV in case of emergency. Motor shaft Set screw Allen is 1/8 , motor mount screws are 5/16 head, pump housing screws are 5/16 head, bellows bolt is 3/4 head.
