the fit is great and it's as easy to install as it is to put on velcro shoes. Also, it's just plain black so it looks no different than if there were nothing on the pole.

Looks great! Has been outside for weeks and there have been no signs of cracking, damage, or fading. This is on a basketball court sized hoop (so full size). Has not fallen off or anything, I really don't have any complaints or issues. Great item

This basketball pole pad measures 6' tall. The cushioning is 2" thick (except not where it bends). As this is designed to wrap around a pole, the padding is sectioned off in 3 long vertical pieces, which you then bend around the contour of your pole. Because of the bending, there are thin slivers of the corners where there is hardly any padding.Besides that, the vinyl is of decent quality, and the velcro works fine. The only thing I was disappointed in is that the stitching for the velcro wraps and around the foam pad are all single-stitched. I would have hoped that an item that will be outdoors mostly would be reinforced to help withstand the elements.

Easy to setup and provides good cushion. I do feel the quality could be slightly better, but as long as you aren't constantly slamming into it, there should be no problems.

I may not have a basketball pole in my garage, but I do have a homemade rope pull and a deep seeded need to channel my inner 'Rocky/Kickboxer' every now and then ;-)Great pole/beam pad! It's thick. A good 2 1/4" thick with dense foam. It can literally take a punch! Wraps around my doubled up 2x4s no different than the advertised 4x4 post. Six strong, wide velcro straps keep it in place. Nothing but good things to say!Suppose your only danger with regards to this being used on a basketball pole pad is that it's only a three (3) sided protection pad. So if it twists around during a game, there's potential that a baller could still make contact with the actual pole. Other than that, though, I see absolutely zero flaws with this product. Well made, fully sealed, heavy duty vinyl and thick dense foam padding. This is a high quality padding product that's meant to last!Looking forward to going 'Real Steel' on this later. Just gotta pull my son away from it."Kid, get out! Dad wants his gym back!" Have fun!

The pole pad is a great addition for anyone who wants to enhance safety during games or activities that involve contact with poles. I've found it to be easy to install and provides excellent protection for players, with thick, dense foam padding that can take a punch. The six strong velcro straps keep it securely in place, even on a pole with a diameter of up to 4x4 inches. ProSlam basketball pad fits perfectly and gives me alot of support and peace of mind while playing basketball.....thick quality made padding is molded to fit and is very durable and long lasting...overall very smart and ergonomic design is very protective and definitely pads falls and collision
