We are using this wall-mounted, so I can't comment on the mounting to a trampoline. However, it was very simple to mount it (with a backboard) to the side of our home. I added a ball return attachment, and we are up and running. Perfect for practicing free throws or a quick game with the neighbors. The quality seems to be good, and the net was attached already, so it was a matter of minutes to bolt it up and start playing.
