A must have for those of you who want to wire something and feel confidant in the connection. I found them easy to use. I used a mini heat gun to melt the solder and heat shrink casing and was pleased with results. I also covered each connection with a piece of heat shrink over the solder connectors for extra stability. This was for installing off road lights on my truck.

These things actually work, and they work well. I didn't have a heat gun handy, so I used a match and they worked fine.

I only needed the smallest one—and only four of those—but I was able to repair four thin and damaged outdoor wires.I used a hair dryer to shrink (no need for a heat gun).

They’re ok. My issue is they took A LOT of heat to make them work. I had my heat gun on high and it even burned the carpet in my trunk on how hot it was and these things barely closed up. Take that in mind

These work great if you are connecting wires outside of the vehicle. I had to practice a few times to get it down to where I was decent. The videos make it look easier than it actually is. The trick is to melt the solder first without melting the plastic exposing the wire. Unfortunately since you have to use a heat gun it is impossible to connect wires inside a vehicle with limited space. However you can't pull the wires apart when the connection is done properly.

Bought these to repair a ABS wiring harness in a 2007 ford edge that was damaged by fire. So far so good as I have just finished putting them in. I'll update if any problems arise. I'll recommend this product.
