Silicone is a good material for these shower mats. There are a number of good points for this product but one real annoying negative.This shower mat is made of a thick silicone mat with plenty of suction cups on the bottom. The top side has a pebble texture for good grip. It comes in three colors so you'll have something that matches something in your bathroom! The only problem I had with this shower mat is that the diamond shaped holes to allow better air flow and drying also make it very uncomfortable to stand on. Just turning in the shower to let the water hit me from different angles meant my heels ended up going down into one of these holes and it was very uncomfortable! It's a good shower mat, but not very comfortable to use as a practical matter!

I got this to replace a foam tub mat and think it is definitely an upgrade. Since it's not very porous, it seems less prone to mold. The suction cups do seem to keep it In place pretty well. I like that there is a pattern of holes that allows water to flow through, so I'm thinking this will help keep it from getting moldy underneath as well. The texture on top is not as soft as other mats I've had, so it's not quite as comfortable, but I would take that any day over mats that get gross easily. Also, it's just a bit wider than my standard size tub, so it does go up the sides just a tad, but I suppose it's close enough that it doesn't bother me. Overall, I'm satisfied with this so far.

I love this bathtub mat! The silicone material is soft, odorless, and comfortable, making it a great choice for kids and family baths. I like this bathmat. It's a thick, quality mat and is easy on the feet. The size is perfect for my tub so there was no need to trim it at all. It has great suction and stays where I put it. It's very easy to clean, I stick mine to the side of the shower stall and hose it down with bleach, let it sit then rinse and done. It lists for 21.99 and is absolutely worth the money. I would order this again.

It grips well and it's comfortable to stand on but it's a little on the small side. If you're elderly, have mobility issues or if you have very small children then I would look at bathmats that are better designed for those needs, that would be larger and cover more of the tub for safety.My husband and I have been using this mat for nearly two weeks and have no major complaints. You can use this as a bathmat outside the shower on a tile floor or inside the tub. It has a good amount of drainage holes and a lot of little suction cups on the bottom. I'm using the mat in my tub and it's a decent width but a shorter length than I was expecting. I certainly wouldn't call it "extra long" like the title says. I'd suggest you measure so you have a good idea of 28 inches in your tub. I used the product photos of the mat sitting in a tub as a visual reference and it doesn't look nearly that big in my tub!We like to hang our mats to dry after use and it's important to do that with this mat because it tends to trap a fair amount of water underneath, despite having drainage holes. It doesn't have a loop to hang it which I hadn't realized so we hang it over the shower door to air dry.Despite those minor issues the mat works well and grips the tub securely. I put it to the test trying to shift it or catch my toe on the edge to flip up a corner but it performed well and stayed in place.The mat is silicone so it's naturally BPA free, it shouldn't crack or discolor, and silicone ages well. And because the mat is silicone it's soft and smooth, but with a subtle texture so it's not slippery. I think the mat looks nice, I ordered the beige mat and it's simple and clean looking, which is what I wanted for the bathroom. The manufacturer says you can machine wash the mat, I haven't tried that but it's nice to know the option is available.I think the quality vs value is fair. Overall I recommend it as long as you're aware of it's shorter length if your primary user needs a larger mat for extra safety.

I had tried 2 other mats that said they would work on textured flooring in shower but did not work, they did move. This mat works great! It stays in place, and it does not have big bumps from suction cups on bottom. My husband and I love it, worth every penny! Highly recommend it.
