The battery boost is strong enough to recharge your phone a couple of times on a single charge. It has a hard protective shell and is turned on simply by long pressing the button on the back of it, also includes a screen protector as well. Really nice to have for long workdays that you can’t charge your phone on in order to keep your phones battery from dying

I recently purchased the QTshine Battery Case for my iPhone 12, and I am very pleased with its performance! The 10800mAh battery capacity provides an impressive amount of extra power, allowing me to extend my phone’s battery life throughout the day without worrying about running out of charge. Whether I’m traveling, attending events, or simply out and about, this case has been a lifesaver.The ultra-slim design is another great feature. Despite the high battery capacity, the case doesn’t feel bulky or heavy, and it fits my phone perfectly without adding too much extra weight. The red color is vibrant and stylish, making it a great accessory for my iPhone.The case is incredibly easy to use. Simply slide the phone into the case, and it starts charging immediately. It also offers overcharge protection, so I don’t have to worry about damaging my phone’s battery. This charging case is not the most elegant looking item but most people will not be using it as a day to day case but rather as a temporary case whilst travelling or camping, so this can be forgiven. It’s pretty chunky and due to the positioning of the camera lenses the weight is concentrated in the bottom two thirds of the case. It is a shame it doesn’t support wireless charging - and also blocks wireless charging of the phone itself - but not the end of the world for a case only being used on trips. This case is a little fatter than any other charging case I have used but packs a significantly larger 10,800mAh compared to the usual 7-8,000mAh.I’m not a great fan of how you have to slide your phone in, there is a soft material backing inside the case but this does not extend up the sides. Even with this ‘protective’ material should any detritus make its way into the case there is still a risk of scratching the phone whilst fitting. I would recommend fitting this case once before setting off and then leave it fitted until you no longer require it.In theory this case should around double the battery life of the phone and so far it seems to be, however I have my doubts whether the internal battery will have sufficient longevity for frequent use as it utilises Li-polymer cells which are less power dense and degrade more rapidly than more common Li-ion. They are in theory more robust so swings and roundabouts. Only time will tell whether this was the best choice and I will update this review if I see any premature capacity drop, so in that respect the jury is still out.At £28 at time of review this battery case is a good value choice.

This case is great for someone with an older iPhone 12 Pro who needs longer battery life. My wife often forgets to charge her iPhone, so having additional battery with her is a huge help. The case is easy to install, and uses the same older style iPhone charging cable as the phone. When needed you hit a button on the back of the battery case to turn on charging of the phone, then tap it again to turn off the charging. This part works really well and is not complicated. There are a few downsides of this case. First, of course is the additional weight, batteries are not light in this case, adds a lot of heft to your phone. The edges of the case are all smooth, so even though it weighs considerably more, you can still slide it in and out of a pocket or purse easily. The second issue, and more important to me, is the limited protection this case provides for the glass front of your phone. While it does come with a Screen protector that you can install, the case has very minimal lip around the front edge. A minimum lip of 1.5 mm provides drop protection to prevent small irregularities in the ground from cracking your screen when you drop your phone. A larger lip, something closer to 2 mm Provides outstanding protection. The engineers behind this case went with something much lower than 1.5 mm. The edge of the case is pretty much flush with the screen protector, this may sound good as a design element, but this greatly increases the risk of cracking your screen when this heavy phone/case is dropped. This oversight in the case design makes it difficult to recommend this for someone. We all occasionally drop our phone, and a stick on screen protector may not be enough protection when the phone in case weighs as much as this does. There is a lot of value in having an additional battery on your phone, especially with an older phone like the iPhone 12, whose battery is likely to be showing signs of age by now.

Huge capacity battery for your iPhone.Normally the battery capacity for these cases, is around 7500mah.But they have managed to squeeze 10,800mah into this one, and it appears no thicker.Easy to fit, as long as you remember to make sure the phone connector goes in straight to the case.Raised edges on the case help to protect the screen and cameras. And they even give you a screen protector as well.You can even charge and sync your phone with the case still on.A very good way to give life to an older iPhone, or ideal if you are a power user.
