I'm an avid gardener. I have blueberries, grapes, blackberries, pears, flower bulbs of multiple varieties; I grow potatoes, squash, herbs, tomatoes, peppers---pretty much anything. I have 12 raised beds and a 24' x 18' inground plot. Just to let you know that I'm no stranger to the joys and struggles of gardening and growing your own food. One of the more laborious and pain-in-the-neck chores is using the sprayer to apply vitamins, fungicides or organic pest control (Neem Oil, milk, etc.). Typically, in a given season, I have to spray with a foliar spay multiples times, using fungicide two or more times to combat diseases of the fruit trees, and milk/baking soda mixture at least once to combat blight on the veg. I have also used Neem oil on occasion, too. These projects involve using a sprayer like this one, but it's a hand-pump routine where you have to pump the handle up and down repeatedly to build up the proper vacuum to allow the thing to spray. You have to repeat this process several times, as you will lose suction as you spray. It's a pain in the arm and the neck.Spraying can also be wearying because you have to hold down the spray handle for the process to work, which can cause cramping in your hands and fingers. All of those issues are taken care of by this little machine. It self-primes electronically, so all you do is push the button to turn it on and it will prime itself. Once primed, it begins spraying; no hand cramps required. It stays primed, so no stopping to pump before you can begin again, which saves not only sore muscles but time. The spray is strong, and adjustable through the tips. I love that multiple tips are provided (in the hardware store typical hand-pump machine, you only get one).I got the 2 gallon (8 liter) model, which concerned me because 2 gallons weighs 16 pounds, and I wasn't sure how difficult it might be to have that strapped across my neck and shoulder, but as long as you adjust the length of the strap accordingly, it's no problem! The only one issue I have is that the handle, which is where the electronics are housed, must be re-charged at least every two months, even when not in use. This means that, especially during the off season, you need to remember to pull that out and keep up with the charging schedule or the battery could die entirely. The batteries are not removable; you'd need to replace at least the handle if the battery dies. I checked the seller's store on Amazon, and can't see where you could replace just the handle. That would be a nice thing for them to offer because the rest of the unit seems sturdy enough that it should last through many seasons.Assembly was a bit less intuitive than I would have liked (and I've used many of these before, at least the manual type), but I ended up going to the YouTube instruction video and that worked it out.I also would have liked an extra handle on the side of the thing. As it is, the only handle is at the top, attached to the lid, but a side handle would help in emptying the container after use.Other than those minor issues, I love this thing and I know I'll be using it many times in the coming months!

This sprayer was very easy to assemble…..Easy to charge and use. It took about 3 hrs to get to full charge and so far I have used it 5 hrs and it is still running!

I am using this sprayer to spray for weeds in my yard.I don't have a very large yard and using a 4 gallon backpack sprayer often felt like an overkill. Albeit, I don't have to refill it as much, my shoulders and back are not pleased with the extra weight. This backpack sprayer is very lightweight when it is filled up. It is a tiny bit more than 2 gallons to allow for additional concentrate, surfactant, etc. To be added. I found that purchasing concentrates and using a sprayer ro be more cost effef4ive and cuts down on time.I used this unit and refilled it 3 times to spray my garden and yard. The spray nozzles were powerful, the mists were fine and evenly distributed to cover the targeted area. I went around the whole yard and by the time I circled back, the dandelions were already wilting and browning and the clovers were already browning. Besides the effectiveness of the chemical I used, to me, it means that the sprayer did it's job to spread the mist generously on the weeds to kill most of them quickly without wasting more product. I am actually pretty excited to test this unit on pests, specifically Japanese beetles that tends to infest my fruit trees and ornamentals. I can't wait to see if this sprayer is powerful enough to literally knock'em dead. The sprayer came fully charged and I was able to spray my yard in 45 minutes with one full charge. For the mathematically challenged, like me, it was easier to accurately portion out the right amount of chemical based on 1 or 2 gallon proportions and shake the container to mix them.I do wish that there are little clips, pouch, or inserts to hold the different nozzles and the charging cord. Knowing me, they'll go missing very quickly. If this unit can last several season, I think this would be a very cost effective way to tend to a small yard. So, I really do hope this unit will last a few season and not die on me like another unit I had... we shall see...The cleaning and storage of this sprayer is also much more easier, convenient, and space saving. Overall, I think I may end up using this more this season for small jobs and save my backpack sprayer (and my back) for larger tasks.
