Easy to use heats up quickly. I have made Pork fritters, onion rings, fish, and numerous other things. I love this, and it is just as good, if not better than the more expensive Cajun Fryer

I am an executive chef, and I purchased this to use at a kids camp when I work every summer that never has the facilities to have an indoor fryer.I had seen one in use a few years ago and thought it would make my life easier. In many ways it has!Pros.. it’s a great fryer. It does reduce some of my work load. Could stand to be a little deeper.Cons. Two of the wheels are very small, and the stems to the wheels are not very secure. It makes the fryer unstable and rickety. Not a good feeling when you have 9 gallons of 250 F oil in the fryer.I have cleaned many fryers in my career. This is the hardest fryer I’ve ever cleaned and the drain valve is higher than it should be. So you end up having to lift the fryer up to get the fryer to drain. Getting the “crumbs”out is its own complication.If you are frying not frozen items, it’s a consistent fryer temperature wise. Drop frozen items into it and it get very difficult to regulate the temperature. And the temperature regulator is not “on” the fryer, it’s over on the hose of the propane. Which is an inconvenience. Where as a commercial fryer you can set the temp to say 325 and it holds the temperature there. This one does not work like that. And as mentioned above if it’s frozen items, quite difficult to regulate!Just things to consider when considering making this expensive purchase!
