The quality of the parts is not very good had to modify to make points and condenser fit

The new points are slightly different from original. The rubber groment on the points needed to be trimmed and heated to fit. I had to file the mounting bolt down so it wouldnt ark on the contacts. Excellent price fixed my no spark concern.

I was having trouble with the "points-free" retrofit that came with the boat. I think it was overheating and cutting out. I decided to go back to the original configuration and I'm not sorry. The points fit perfectly and the boat is running much better. I plan to buy another kit soon to have on hand for the next tune up. Fortunately I still own a dwell meter from the 1970's (you can use a feeler gauge to set the gap when the points are new).
