This probe is easy to hand-wash and is dishwasher-safe, making post-cook clean-up a cinch! BBQ Guru digital thermometer probes are engineered to the highest standards to ensure accuracy. Unlike inferior thermistor probes, our high quality thermocouple probes provide greater temperature tracking precision. Probes are rated for temperatures up to 500°F (260°C) and the sturdy sheathed wires are used to protect against breakage, heat, or errors while cooking. Fits UltraQ, DynaQ, PartyQ, NanoQ, DigiQ II, DigiQ DX, DigiQ DX2 and DigiQ DX3, CyberQ II, CyberQ Wifi, CyberQ Cloud and newer model ProCom4 controls. Note: For probes to maintain the highest level of accuracy, do not allow probes to go directly into flames or coals that would exceed the maximum range of 500°F (260°C). In addition, avoid pinching or crushing the probe cables as they need to send probe data back to the temperature control without hindrance.

My original put probe was damaged by heat when I mistakingly had it still in my smoker and left it all opened up. This resulted in the temps to skyrocket. My cook was done and I was eager to eat... OoopsAfter that, the probe did not read correctly.This new probe restored my temp controller to operational. I'm very happy.Make sure you remove the probe when you are done to avoid my problem.

This is a great replacement pit probe for the one that i had before. The previous probe would have lasted longer but I did not wont to drill a hole in the side of my pit to install the probe so it is run through the door and gets crimped.

It works as advertised. No issues. I will probably buy another as a spare. It sucked using the BBQ guru on a cook when the grill temps were all over the place. nice to have consistency back...and the pork was awesome...as usual :)

The probe is too thin to fit in my Guru purchased probe tower and clip. It slides right out. However, that being said, it does work well and reading the temp and the length of the cable is great!
