I've had to use one of these once in the past, but after so many years I've lost track of where I put it. So when I saw this ewe starting to prolapse, I decided I better order another. These are great, they don't tend to fit hair sheep as well as wooly sheep (a lot bigger even when adjusted smaller) but they still work, you just have to keep a close eye on them to make sure mom hasn't slipped out of the neck portion. As I expected, the Ewe was able to deliver her lambs on her own while wearing the harness and no issues of prolapse. I do keep it on mom for a couple more days after delivery as I did have a prolapse ewe prolapse again days after delivery. But the ewe doesn't seem bothered by it.

Not easy to put on and definitely not easy to keep the color block in place

Bought this in Nov 23. Used for approx 2 months and it’s no longer useable due to the rubber donut breaking and no way to repair

The harness was easy to use, though it took a little head scratching to get it to fit correctly around the business end. Once we figured it out, it stayed in place and didn't interfere with lambing in the least, and was entirely effective in preventing prolapse.

As an individual trying to put in the harness it took a little while to figure it out and get adjusted correctly the first time but once that was done it was easily put on and off. Ewe delivered twins with the harness on with no problem. I was very pleased.

We tried to use this harness on a smaller American Blackbelly and it did not work for us, however I feel like this harness would work if the sheep is a little larger in size. It just doesn't tighten down enough longwise and it was easy for the sheep to move her body in a way that it just slipped off in the back.

Used this prolapse harness for a small goat (Nigerian dwarf/Pygmy). Fit and worked great!

Product is well made and appears to be very durable as well. I liked that it was easily adjustable to fit various size ewes. I would recommend this to anyone in need of this type of product. You need to go ahead and order one now before you actually need it.
