This Tool is very well-made and very strong.Beware of inserting the tool too far and hitting the Bearing carrier.It fit my Mercury OptiMax 225 perfectly

Volvo Penta SX Carrier Wrench? No it is not... Well it can be made into one! If you dont want to spend a ton of money on the volvo tool. you can use this Mercruiser wrench and in about 30 mins plus a grinder make this work 👍

Doesn’t fit on torque master lower units, does seem to be built well though

Won’t fit a 1.25 shaft like it says seems like it’s built half decent other than that.

It worked. I used a 1/2" impact on this tool to help with any corrosion in the threads. It fit my 2006 mercury 225 optimax but it doesn't fit snug the way a tool should fit.

The socket looks very strong and well built. I couldn't use it because it wouldn't fit my boat. The listing says on three different places that it fits outboards. After I received it I found where it started in one spot that it will not fit outboards under 150HP. Wish I could have used it.
