Boots are too small in diameter. It was a tight fit unlike the original. Almost 1/2-1” smaller. I have no choice but to use them. The project must be done today. Amazon needs to correct the figment

I don't know if this boot would slip over the outer tie-rod ball-stud, but it slipped over the lock nut on the inner tie-rod no problem.I heated the outer tie-rod to get it off. I was able to leave the lock nut in place, with the alignment marked.Now that I'm done, it occurs to me that he wire loopy thing might be a useful tool to help coax the inner lip of the boot over the steering rack.

Fit my 2003 Subaru Forester steering rack perfectly. I reused one of the factory clamps and not one of the ones provided. I wish the kit had clamps that were factory style and not the one that is more like a metal zip tie.

I accidentally damaged my OEM boot while removing the outer tie rod end. Ordered this one to prevent contamination of the inner tie rod. I was surprised at how well it fit. It fit really well, and the plastic/rubber material it was manufactured with was more supple than the OEM boot. Would order this product again without hestitation.

It's an inexpensive replacement for a broken boot, and it works. It didn't come with metal crimps, but rather zip ties
