Seems like a nice part, but didnt come with nuts. Maybe not an issue if replacing the exact same part same application (BMW?) and reusing existing nuts. I plan to use it on another application (TR6) and the thread size for the nuts required are hard to find as separate parts. Havent returned it yet.

I'd just like to clarify for others like myself that find the terms ( normally open and normally closed ) a bit confusing. I received this switch today and tested it using a battery and ohm meter. The power/light is in fact "ON" when the button is "NOT" pressed. Pressing the button turns the power/light "OFF". It seems as though the manufacturer themselves are confused about this judging from their answers to the questions asked on this site.I hope this helps someone out.It functions just as I needed.

Beck Arnley has long been known to rebox OEM parts and sell them under their own name. This is an actual original brake light switch for the application. It is of much higher quality than any of the aftermarket switches that I compared it to, and the pricing was very competitive as well.

Volvo 240 brake light problems aren't the easiest to trace. This was the fix for my vehicle. It is very difficult to get to the place to change it out on a 240..

This brake light switch is for a BMW 2002. I used it on a Triumph TR6. Great replacement for cheap original. Wish it came with nuts. Had to go to Ace to find the metric nut with non standard pitch.

First switch did not come with locking nuts, will try again.
