It was supposed to be amazon exact fit. It fits on the rack and inner tie rod but the vent line is not in the right place and if I try to install the vent line, the line is stretched and pops off. I'll need to get more line and a double end barb to complete the install. And good luck installing the clamps. Near impossible with the rack tucked in the frame (I guess they would work if you had the rack on the bench). Now I see why lots of kits come with cable ties instead.

This boot fit extremely tight on my 1998 crv. The equalization nipple is a little shorter than factory so the hose wouldn’t reach and had to be lengthened.

5 Stars because rubber seems of good quality and one of the few kits that actually come with a metal retainer versus a zip tie. Zip ties work fine but require replacing overtime they stretch and lose grip and become loose. I have the same kit (left and right from beck arnley) on a 1995 civic with over 25k miles on them and boots are still in great condition.The boot requires patience and multiple tries. This I cannot stress enough. If you are doing this job with the motor still in the car then be ready for a good work out. If you DO NOT have the engine still in the bay the job is a walk in the park. Get inside your engine bay and work it in. The boot seems tight or too tight simply because you must go over a lip on the steering rack itself. The lip prevents the boot from sliding back and also gives the metal strap something to hold to. The smaller hole that sits closer to the outer tie rod will also need a strap of its own which I simply used a zip tie as that one is easily accessible. Your inner tie rod should have a smooth spot on the rod itself that lets you know where the end of the boot should sit. Once everyone is in and strapped/tightened then you should have no worries as this boot does not see much movement versus a axle boot. It's more of a protection boot from debris/dirt.For future reference if you are doing an engine swap/replacement and don't remember replacing your inner tie rods, please replace them while the engine is still out and thank yourself many miles down the road knowing your inner tie rods are good for awhile.Do not re-use old boots, do not change inner tie rods and not put on a boot. Do it right the first time!

The boot is fine, it fit and works for 2000 Honda Civic. IF youre like me and think that the zip tie will be an easy thing..... nope. I am a weekend car mechanic, not professional, but not unexperienced either. I had a tremendous amount of trouble with the zip-ties for the clamps. The boot would keep coming off. The little metal clamp provide for the small side of the boot was for me simply a pain in the ... I bought stainless steel worm gear clamps for both the small and the large side of the boot. All is good with those clamps.

Extremely durable; the material is rubber, but super strong.Difficult to put on(usually are) but these will last.Beck Arnley make superior products in my experience.
