This hand pump will not rust or corrode or mar your boat. If your Thirsty-Mate hand pump becomes clogged, simply remove the foot valve assembly and clean out the inside. Spare parts such as foot valve assemblies and hoses are readily available.

My old Beckson had an accident a couple of years ago, but I had other bilge pumps for my kayaking adventures, none of which compared in performance, so I finally replaced it. It pumps MORE and the length makes it easier.

I purchased the Thirsty-Mate to help me pump out my fountains. As long as debris doesn't get caught up in the bottom, the pump works well.

This little gadget is quick and easy to use on demand. Easy to stow away in a accessible spot. Lots of good suction, will fill a gallon bucket in just a few minutes.

This pump is so awesome, gets things done in half the time. It pumps on the up-stroke as well as the down-stroke, so it's super efficient. My only criticism would be that the push handle's main rod is a little flimsy, as several times it bent as I pushed down, & I worried it would break. But I just pump slower so as to not risk bending it. That would be an improvement in the design to make that rod piece stronger, less bendable. Thanks!

I use these in construction and they hold up very well. Draws a lot of water when you don't want the hassle of a wet vac. Great product.
