Paint was uneven and unfinished, would stain the minute you dripped coffee or whatever, Also the legs looked precarious. So I returned.

This tray is lightweight and seems a bit pricey to me. It would serve as beneficial if you needed to eat in bed and has plenty of room for holding items. It would also be convenient to use while seated away from a table. The folding legs work fine situating the tray at a good height, and I like the appearance.

I actually used this the same day I got it, not as a bed tray but as a serving tray. With the legs folded this works as a regular tray as well. I most likely would only use it with the legs up if I were ill and was confined to my bed - since the bed is not the best place to eat food! I guess you could use it as a bed table, but it is a little small for that. The tray is painted white, which if it is bamboo was not necessary in my opinion. The sides of the tray are bamboo, I don't think the bottom is. The tray has handles to carry it and a big lip to avoid spillage. The legs fold in and out nicely. It is about 20 by 12 inches, and the legs are about 9 inches tall.
