One worked perfectly, the second one had bad threads. I am sending the second one back. Would have been a 5 if they both had good threads.

One of the couplers leaks from the boss side of the fitting (just testing with water at 20psi, and it has a dripping leak), even after swapping out teflon tape and re-torquing a couple of times. The second one held tight right away though, luckily, so I think I just got a bad unit.Looking at the threads on the inside, it looks like they weren't formed correctly (tapped too deep maybe). I would try using the longer variant if you can get away with it.

Used to transition air lines for an air horn through the radar arch on my boat. Works awesome!

Used for my truck air compressor system. I leak tested the 60 connections and found about 8 leaked, then fixed all but two on the first try. Both of the connections to this fitting leaked, even after four retries. I switched to different copies of the fittings interfacing with this one and both of the connections still leaked. No amount of tightening or thread tape could get these to stop gross leaking. Now I have to buy another expensive fitting.UPDATE: I bought an equivalent fitting in brass, and both connections sealed to the two intended fittings (those two that failed 5 times). Passed leak check at 20PSI and 50-PSI first try, where previous fitting gross leaked every time at 20PSI. The torque to seat the fittings in the new bulkhead was progressive, where this fitting was low and then suddenly very high. I suspect that these "NPT" threads may be "BPT". Also, the OD threads are not 3/4, they measure 0.812".

Inner thread pitch matched those of a 3/8 NPT male fitting but were not tapered, thus the 3/8MNPT fitting would just screw in loosely and not seal.
