Beduan Sanitary Butterfly Valve
304 Stainless Steel Pull Handle Tri Clamp Clover with Slicone Gaskets
The handle for manual operation mechanically lock the valve in its full open, half open and closed position. By rotating the handle, the motion disk either parallel or perpendicular to the flow of water, shutting off the flow.
It is well applied to stainless steel pipe systems for food beverage, dairy, brewing, pharmaceuatical, bio-pharmaceuatical and chemical industries.
- The Butterfly valve has 3 locking positions, closed, 1/2 open, and fully open. You can set it anywhere and the silicone seat holds the position.
- It is used to keep air out of your tank and still able to add dry hops to our beer in the fermenter. Good choice for you beer brewing!
- The handle of this butterfly ball valve is equipped with a nylon sleeve to reduce friction, so it is easy and flexible to open it.

not at all what I was expecting. this butterfly valve blocks most of the inside space when open, and has black corrosion on multiple surfaces

Ordered 2, this is what showed up. Seems well built, wont have an opportunity to test it since they need to be the same size. Technically the same, but different overall sizes. Problem is I'm building a manifold that needs consistency in parts sizing.

I bought a few to use in my 5BBL brewery. I like the functionality of the pull handle, and they're smaller (in terms of the handle) than your standard butterfly valves. I like them.

I bought these for a yeast brink that I bought from a local brewery. They are smaller than other valves on the market, but they are made well, and they have been holding pressure for a couple weeks. I am planning on using the brink as a Fermenter which IMO is much sturdier than the typical home brew fermenters. They are well worth the money.

Might just be the way these are designed for sanitary reasons but the butterfly inside is very thick. That added to the seal around the butterfly makes it fairly restrictive. In hindsight I'd probably order a larger valve within the same tri clamp size.

I have not used this item yet since it was for Christmas. But, it seems to be heavy, well made and has a nice quality to it. The finish is nice. The delivery was quick and the seller described the item accurately.
