This is very handy for my intended use: looking out the window and passing ships. It''s well worth the price.

The manufacturer shows the smart phone adapter in the online picture ,and states that it's part of the package in writing as well. After the 1st one arrived without the part I thought it was just a mistake . Amazon did the right thing and sent a replacement the next day. Unfortunately it arrived in the same condition, which is really too bad ,as the monocular itself, is bright ,clear ,and quick to focus. The included tripod is a clever design that, folds up small ,then extends sturdy legs, well able, in my opinion ,to support , monocular, adapter, and phone easily. I hope Amazon takes the seller to task and that the seller makes good on it's deficiencies.

This is one of 18 monoculars I bought recently for a comparison video. It's very similar to another model I tested... with some of the same problems. To begin with, it's NOT a 30x52mm scope. 10x30mm is closer to the truth. Also like the similar model, the build quality - though somewhat better - is not great. The focusing rings are stiff and the eyepiece extends roughly. It produces decent images, though. Because it's dirt cheap for a 10x30mm scope, it might be worth a try if money's an issue. Just be aware you're not getting the claimed magnification .

This is NOT 30 times zoom. This is NOT 52 mm aperture. It is a 10x32 monocular with a tripod, and works well as such. The tripod is difficult to screw into the body of the monocular, but once it does get in there it is sturdy. Overall, I enjoy it!

At price not afraid to carry in glove box when you want to get a look at something. Lens is blurry toward edges so binoculars better for wide views. Still, easy to grab for Quick Look.
