Installation Tips:

Kool product .. works as advertised .. instructions were no help to me but I figured it out on my own after about 10 days of trial and error .. I would recommend this to anyone .. thanks

This was super nice addition to my suv BUT the first time I closed my hood it broke/cracked some of the light sensors so it wouldn’t light up in some places.

My biggest issue with this is my own problem, being that I need to wire it into a switch so that it doesn't run when the car is off and parked. Overall, decent product.

I bought these lights, not expecting it to look too cool on my car, I only have 2009 Jetta. I was blown away by the results truly. On my car specifically, the way that I put the lights on my hood was facing down. I didn’t know this at the time, but because of my placement and the way that my headlights are placed under hood, the lights actually shine into headlight assemblies, filling them with colorful light at night when I turn my headlights off. The app is easy to use, connects right away, and has a ton of settings to choose from including one where the lights will dance to the music that it’s playing, through your microphone. one thing I noticed about these reviews pre-purchase was the amount of people who said that it fell off after a few days. I have had these on my car for a couple of months and extremely high heat and now it’s getting colder and it has not fell off my car yet. I think it really does come down to the proper preparation of the surface that you’re going to be attaching these to. Before I put the lights on, I took a rag with soapy water on the bottom of my hood to clean off the clearcoat and all the surfaces that I wanted to put the actual lights on. After I wipe them off with another rag to dry, and when I actually put the lights on, I held an inch section on for 10 seconds at a time before moving onto the next inch section doing the exact same. didn’t know how well the lights would bend in the direction I needed them to bend for the application on my car, it actually was pretty well, held up to this day. With a little patience and proper placement on the right vehicle, these can really make your car stand out. One of my favorite things to do with them is turn my headlight off and truck drivers on the road. They seem to get a good kick out of it. One thing I don’t like about these is that it didn’t come with any apparatus to properly connect it to power, instead, you get a red wire and a blue wire albeit already stripped. I just connected the red to the positive battery terminal and the black to the ground. This is not the proper way to do things, as if the circuit shorts out, risk damage to your battery, engine, computer, potentially and/or a fire. With fusible link, you can attach fuse between the battery and the accessory so that if anything does short out the fuse blows and not your battery or engine, computer or anything important. So far my rig has been fine and hasn’t actually caused me any problems, I left the light on a day at a time before, and the most it’s gotten is slightly lukewarm to the touch. Also, when I forget to turn them off overnight, it does not kill my battery completely. Not that I advise that, but it’s good to know. I paid $11 for these at the time, because it was on prime day. Best $11 I’ve spent.

Super easy to install. They've worked flawlessly. The start of the strip came loose slightly, I held it in place for about three minutes with some pressure and it's been sticking fine ever since. Hopefully it will stay stuck. I'd recommend these to anyone wanting to add some glow to their vehicle
