This BEMIS round closed front toilet seat with cover is an injection moulded solid plastic toilet seat that features four moulded-in bumpers. This seat features slow-close technology with the Whisper Close hinge that allows the lid to close slowly and quietly with no slamming or pinched fingers. The Easy Clean & Change hinges with non-corrosive bolts and wing nuts easily removes seat for easy cleaning and replacement . This seat complies with IAPMO/ANSI Z124. 5-2013 Plastic Toilet Seats as a class Residential. Bemis offers a good quality product (I have this same toilet seat in another bathroom), but this one arrived with a break at the hinge. My plumber was here to install, so I had to made a dash to a big box store for another one so that I could have it installed. However, Amazon accepted the return for a full refund. No problems with Amazaon.

this arrived without bolt hardware and the hinge was bent. Toilet seat and cover don't line up exactly. If seat cover is nicely centered when it's closed, then the seat is crooked when it's open. Old model was a solid plastic seat. This one is arched over support feet that contact the toilet bowl. Hopefully it will be as durable.

This is one of the worst toilet seats I’ve ever purchased. The plastic is soft, thin, and flimsy. The fit is not adjustable, so it sits crooked on the toilet. The lid doesn’t close itself because it’s too lightweight for the hinges - you have to push it down. The lid and seat bumpers are cheap plastic instead of rubber.I’ll be buying something else when this breaks in a month or so.

Had to return the item as it did not fit came from us site and can only assume their fittings are different did not align with holes in British toilet
