Used Ben's Tick & Insect Repellent Eco Spray in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in the mid-summer. The mosquitoes were in THICK swarms in the evening and morning; my gray pants were black with mosquitoes. However, whenever I had this on (including spraying the latrine area) the mosquitoes and flies stayed away just as well, if not better, than other campers using chemically charged high-% DEET repellent. Definitely recommend Ben's for your adventures.

This keeps bugs off all day and most of the night but it is oily so keep it away from your good clothes.

I bought this bug spray for my vacation. I knew I was going to be out taking pictures and the bugs could be bad. My niece used it as well and it works. My niece complained that it has a strong smell. I did not notice the smell at the time. I just used it this evening for another photo outing. Boy does it have a smell! The smell subsides for a short time but then comes back. The reason I gave 4 stars is for the smell. Otherwise it does the job of keeping the bugs away.
