The book press is light and the quality is not bad. I like that the press can sit flushed down since there's no bulky screw in the middle like other book presses. The size makes it a good press for small or thin books. Unfortunately, since it's acrylic, there is no weight on it and it's very easy to tilt over when I'm trying to glue together small books. The acrylic can also warp a little bit when you're trying to tighten the screws to add tension. Overall, I think the press is decent but not that great compared to wooden presses.

this is a great press for spraying edges or working on spines, but the product needs to be cleaned up before being shipped. It had several burrs and frayed edges that were easily dealt with and didn't cause any harm, but it didn't look all that great. Otherwise it's absolutely perfect.
