Most swing sets have a plastic insert on the swing hanger. They wear and they squeak. This has needle bearings as a proper industrial application would. They should probably include some instructions to disassemble and coat with synthetic grease to really maximize lifespan and efficiency.

When BeneLabel says heavy duty, they mean it. The screw shaft is extremely hunky and appears to be very, very strong. The screw has deep threads and is made of steel, so there is virtually no possibility that the screw will disengage.BeneLabel advertises that the hangers can be installed without drilling. This is simply not true, unless you have very soft wood. The screw portion is about 3/16" in width, making it a difficult if not impossible to screw in without drilling a pilot hole first. Having said that, I have NO concern about the screw stripping or otherwise failing.Because the hangers are ball bearing, there is no noise when in use. This is an ace product.

When I review items, I try to focus on four areas; Packaging, Delivery, Quality, and Functionality.Packaging: These swing hangers arrived in a very compact box and all of the packaging was recyclable. They did ship in a larger box with another item, but overall I was happy with the packaging.Delivery: Processing and shipping was very quick. There were no issues with the delivery and they arrived in perfect condition.Quality: Every time I see 304 stainless I pull out my magnet. High quality 304 stainless should be almost completely non-magnetic. The shackle portion of these hangers displayed very little magnetic qualities whereas the bolt section displayed a strong attraction to the magnet. Having said that, I am still happy with the overall quality of these hangers.Functionality: I haven’t installed these yet, but based on what I can see, they seem function as advertised. The rotational movement of the bearing is smooth. Only time will tell how long they will hold up, but I think they will suit my needs perfectly.Recommendation: I am very happy with these swing hangers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for decent quality and smooth operation. If the need arose, I would purchase these again.
