This 2 holes are found on most mid to high Downhill Bikes.
Cannot be installed without the two holes shown in Figure 1
You can adjust this chain guard to suit the height of your frame and cranks, as shown in Figure 2.

The quality of the material is good, but I could not get a proper mounting location. I was trying to use as a e-bike kit with a chain that constantly falls off. I cant really fault the product as there was a picture with the mounting screw, but keep that in mind.

Ordered this as a chain guide for my old MTB. I converted an old school bike to a one by crank, but only by removing the derailleur and some chainrings. Therefore it doesn't always hold the chain (not correct chainring tooth pattern to hold chain), though mostly has been fine. Still it will occasionally fall off, so this should do the trick. The bike's been in hibernation this season but we'll see when I take it out again soon. Will update if I have any issues after it's set up.

Works as intended. I will note that you may have challenges depending on the size of your chain ring. I installed this running a 12 by 1 drive train with a 26 tooth chain ring. I think if I had a 30 tooth or larger it may not fit given someone's frame geometry. One downer is the bolts provided didn't fit the hole diameter. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.
