I still use optical disks like crazy. They're perfect for sharing with people who aren't too savvy with downloading from private sites. So I pop a disk in one of these envelopes, and then this envelope in a shipping envelope, and I know the disk will arrive scratch-free at its destination. Envelope window is large and crystal clear so people readily see titles I have written on the disks.

I have recently been sorting out my DVD, CD, PlayStation Games collections and had some cracked / smashed cases I needed to replace.I was going to buy some plastic ones at first, but looking at the cost i went for these, 100 PCS Protective White Paper VCD CD DVD Disc Storage Bag Case Envelopes Flap, instead. And glad I did, a very cheap way to look after my DVD, CD, PlayStation Games disks without spending stupid amounts of money replacing the cracked / smashed cases with new plastic ones. These paper ones are very cheap, but very strong and can find no fault at all for what i need them for.Highly recommended!

Fine for purpose. Not as strong as W.H.Smith version, but a lot cheaper. Depends if you want to put special CDs or DVDs in, or just use to protect them from scratches. If needing a lot, then these do the job.

What do you need in a review of paper sleeves with a clear plastic window and closing flap? It either works or doesn't. Well it does work. Does just what the name of it is. I am a lil disappointed that there weren't any rainbows and leprechauns jumping out when I opened them to put my discs in. But those were nowhere in the name or description. They just did what they claimed it would. Allow me to put discs in a paper envelope that has a clear plastic window with a flap to close it with. Damn them for what exactly what they are supposed to do. Not sure you could give them anything but a 5 star rating. On a side note, there is something wrong with you if you scrolled all the way down the page to actually read the reviews for disc sleeves. I mean really, what could they tell you that looking at the star rating couldn't tell you. 5 stars, they worked, 1 star, they didn't. Maybe you could take advantage of the new health care laws and go seek treatment for that disorder that made you look at the review of an envelope. Maybe I should seek help for writing a review an envelope to begin with. Maybe we're all mad and we should sit quietly and wait on the next Goerge Takei Facebook post that will make us double over with laughter and feel better about our new found condition. He really is a great guy whether you're a Trekki (sp? I'm a Star Wars fan, not sure how to spell that. My girl had a crush on Will Wheaton, and that's about as far as I'll go.) or not.So hey, how bout this? We make this whole review a lil constructive. Comment if you think Disney will make a good 7th episode or not. Don't care about how they will whore out toys and images across all forms of products. I mean you can get Angry Birds Star Wars band aids. So it's just going to get worse. Just comment about the movie. Thanks,Dustin

These are cheap yet functional CD sleeves. They are great for protecting CDs from scratches, not so great as protection from breaking (though this is not its function). For the cost, these are decent sleeves. Thus far, I've gone through half of these sleeves, and found 5 had semi-attached plastic windows. Not a big deal for me, but could be problematic for some. The plastic sheets were not fully detached, but if I placed a disc in without paying attention, it would have completely detached the plastic. About 10% with glue issues, not bad for the price. However, I have used other paper sleeves with no issues (ie. fully attached plastic windows) so minus one star for this QC problem. I wouldn't go so far as to give them one star, because they do not really need these plastic sheets (the CD/DVD stays in the sleeve without them), just make sure the data side of the disc faces the paper and not the window.Yes they are flimsy, but it is made of paper. I prefer these over the plastic disc storage cases like the , which are about 4x as thick as a single disc (and these are the slim cases). The standard jewel cases are about 8x as thick as a single disc.

Got these a bit sooner than I expected. I ordered these to use as sleeves to use for DVDs I record on my DVD recorder. I know I could have used hard plastic cases but I had some old 5.2 inch floppy disk holders and wanted to get some further use out of them and these gave me more room in them. These sleeves are just what the doctor ordered for protecting the disks without breaking the bank as long as you remember what their limitations are. The are paper with a plastic window in them and although you can get two disks in them they are mainly for one disk a sleeve. The flap can be slipped into a groove cut into the the back of the sleeve to keep it from popping open but I don't tend to use that as I've found the flap itself will normally stay down out of the way. When these are placed into a case or disk holder, they provide a bit more protection for your CDs or DVDs and do so without costing to much.

I am rather surprised by all the reviews here that are knocking this product particularly calling the sleeves flimsy. I don't know what these buyers were looking for when making this purchase. These cd paper sleeves with window are great and work perfectly. To review them is simple for me as well as giving them the highest grade possible.I had well over 200 dvds of computer work, data, burned files and home movies etc. I gave these a shot and purchased 1 set of 100. They are in no way flimsy. The paper is as described - quality paper and the plastic window is securely in place . If it was flimsy I would expect the plastic window to fall off easily. For myself I use each sleeve for 1 dvd. It saves huge space and makes storage much easier than how it was with the slim disc cd cases I was using before. When I give dvd copies to friends I put up to 2 dvds in a sleeve and they still are perfect and don't tear or anything. I believe 3 or more might tear at the paper but I would never put that many in 1 sleeve thus taking the chance of scratching the discs.I love these sleeves and find them to be of excellent quality - exactly as described. I highly recommend them but must add that the buyer must be sure to use them as intended. I went and bought another 200 and have not found 1 faulty one out of the 300 I have purchased thus far. Highly recommend. A great product that does its job well.
