The “BETTER BOAT BILGE PUMP Automatic Bilge Pumps for Boats Auto Bilge Pump 750 GPH Boat Bilge Pump with Float Switch Built In 12V Bass Boat, Jon Boat and More Small Submersible Pump with 3/4 in Output” arrived promptly and was just as described online.I chose this bilge pump to replace an old pump installed in my boat. I also ordered the Bilge Pump Switch and the Bilge Pump Hose in order to do a complete replacement where all parts are compatible. I will not be able to install the pump until the Spring, so I will have to update this review.Some of the reasons I chose this particular pump include:* The automatic float switch detects and removes water as soon as the water level rises above the base plate on the unit.* Pump automatically shuts off when water level drops below the base plate level.* Automatic system eliminates pump burn-out as a result of running too long.* Unit is lightweight and appears easy to install with included instructions.* Compatible with my boat’s 12v system.* 5 year warranty included (posted online): “We are so confident in the reliable performance of our automatic bilge pumps for boats that we will cover the replacement for any material or workmanship defects.”This Better Boat Bilge Pump’s 5 yr. warranty is well worth the investment.Enjoy!Highly Recommended.

I was waiting for spring weather to fire up my boat. I initially bought this pump as a spare for my 21-foot Bayliner and sure enough, I needed it one month later! It was very easy to install and is definitely more powerful than the original pump that came with the boat. It is lightweight and pumps the water out efficiently and with fairly good force.What I like about this pump is that it automatic preventing it from burning out. I also like the 5-year warranty, which is generous considering this type of product where the variables are numerous, thus giving me peace of mind on the purchase. This is a quality product that I would recommend.
