I actually used it to repair a clear plastic window on an expensive heating pad! It basically fuses to your material so be careful before you touch the product to it. Once adhered it creates a formidable seal!

Works good ONLY if you are able to place on a 100% dry surface, not even damp. Doesn't work well for easy up pools unless there is no water in it yet. It seems to need time to cure before adding the pressure of water behind the patch or it will leak.

I bought this to patch a split in my in ground pool liner. The liner is 11 years old and will be replaced when I open the pool next spring, but I didn't want water to get behind it. I bought this very heavy clear waterproof tape to keep the split from spreading further. When I opened the package, the edges of the tape felt like mouse trap glue - it was that sticky. The tape is very heavy vinyl (I ordered clear), with a peel off clear plastic film over the adhesive side. It was very easy for me to unroll some and cut it to the correct length, peel off the plastic film, and apply it over the split in the pool wall. The tape sticks very well and you can't even see it. Time will tell if it yellows, but it should get me through the winter. If it holds up well enough, I may be able to delay replacing the liner for a year! Good stuff!

I purchased this to put on the seams of my gutters that were leaking pretty badly cuz I did not put them together correctly in the first place. The directions said to be sure the areas are thoroughly cleaned but it can be applied to wet or dry surfaces. I cleaned the area thoroughly and I tried it most of the way, there might have been a couple of damp spots. I used two rolls on my gutter for one side of the house. That night it rained and I got up leaks everywhere and tape falling off. it did not even hold for 5 hours. I was very disappointed. However company was very kind to stand by their products and gave me a full refund without even having to return the last 2 rolls I didn't use. No questions asked. So although that particular product was awful the company that selling it through Walmart had wonderful customer service.

THE TAPE IS VERY STRONG IT WILL WORK ON ANY FLAT SURFACE THAT IS CLEAN. USE COMMON SENSE.

Let ve it. Waterproof sticks to anything almost like a very thick plastic very solid and very very sticky.

This is more than duct tape, for sure. You have to be very careful applying it to your project, because it's powerfully sticky. I used the 4 inch size to seal the joint between a roof tarp and the side tarp of a carport. The joint leaked fiercely in the rain, and this tape is the only solution I could find. Because of the nature of the structure and the bungees, I had to cut the tape into sections to apply it. Also, there wasn't a solid backing to press against, so it leaks in spots, but nothing like before. Now that the rain is over I can fix the remaining leaks. Great product.

Like someone else said, when I got tis stuff the adhesive had run all over the place in the sealed package and adhesive was all over the place. I would have returned it, but I needed it for an emergency repair and dealt with it anyway. A sticky, almost unusable mess!! Have you ever seen the Little Rascals episode where Buckwheat gets stuck on flypaper and can't get it off? That's what handling this stuff is like. I had to wear vinyl gloves to handle it and the utility knife that I cut it with got loaded with goo. The end was impossible to find, so I just cut into the first layer and made an end myself. Getting the cellophane backing off was a disaster and when I did get it to start, a section of it split up the middle just like a cheap roll of masking or duct tape does. I finally got it applied on the thing I was repairing, (the front air dam trim on my van.) Fortunately, the goo can be cleaned up with mineral spirits so I was able to clean my hands that got gooed before I put on the vinyl gloves, as well as able to clean my utility knife. A disaster and I have my doubts that my repair job will hold. Threw it in the trash. I've had way better success with Flexseal tape.UPDATE. A day after I applied this garbage it was already falling off the air dam trim and hanging down. Is it possible to give a negative rating? If so, I rate it a -10.
