My teacher advised getting a better mouthpiece for my clarinet, and that required a new ligature as well. I am very frugal (a cheapskate) and thought this was a lot of money to pay for something that seemed unlikely to me to make much difference. But hey, it’s what was recommended and why ask advice if you don’t plan to heed it, right? Holy cow, was I wrong! I still have no idea *why* it matters, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t get to sounding this much better overnight on my own merits! Works great!

This a good ligature. Easy to place and holds the reed well. The single tightening screw is also much easier to use.

Meine Enkelin hat sich gefreut, sie spielt recht gut Saxophon. Ich kenne mich da nicht so aus. Wurde sehr schnell geliefert, leider war die Verpackung leicht lediert, aber es kommt ja auf den Inhalt an.

I really love the look, but that isn't the reason why I bought it. Function is more important than beauty, but in this case why not have both. This holds the reed securely from the center of the reed, not the outside, which is what I wanted. It is not bulky at all, very trim, really functional, and really looks good.

I found that when I had first received the ligature, the freedom of playability it lent to my sound was quite noticeable. However, about 3 days later the inner red string fell out from the contact points, and the bracings inside the leather binding began to warp. Now it is mediocre at best. I would likely buy another model to replace it due to the quality this manufacturer can provide to players
