I liked the compact nature of this stand, but unfortunately, it is very unstable. I did not feel comfortable leaving my flute in it.

This is a lightweight, easy to transport stand. It worked great while playing at a camp where I had to move around a lot. I have a double case (one hard cover and the a soft cover travel bag) This stand broke down and fit right inside the soft case so I didn't have to grab one more thing to carry around.

二枚のプレートは、重ね合わせてフルートケースを入れるバッグに収まってしまいます。また、組み立ててフルートを立てたままで多少ものが触れても、倒れてしまうという事はなく、狭いステージなどで他の楽器とフルートを併用するときなどにはとても役立ちます。かさばらず実用的なスタンドはこれしかないと思いました。

Ideal as a stand that will slip into your case if you are out and about or at lessons. Okay, it's fairly flimsy - but it is strong enough to do the job it needs to do. Any more sturdy and the portability would be compromised. I use this when out and about but I do use a sturdier stand at home.

Bisogna incastrarlo bene fino in fondo, pena una scarsa stabilità. Comunque, per il ridottissimo peso e lunghezza degli appoggi, non garantisce un stabilità da poter stare "tranquilli" se il flauto viene mosso. Ci sono altri supporti con base metallica pesante che probabilmente danno maggiore sicurezza ed hanno un costo molto inferiore, non l'ho restituito per il semplice fatto che questo in questione lo si trasporta nella borsa del flauto mentre per quello con la base metallica è necessario avere una borsa a parte.

I'm a professional, gigging, flute player, playing a $6000 flute, who switches between the guitar and flute mid-song, so a good, reliable stand is important to me. I think this stand is great. Yep, it's just two pieces of plastic that slide together, and then snap together flat for storage. But that's what's so beautiful about it, the simplicity. The real question is, is it stable? Yes, totally, more so than all the other portable stands. The stand easily fits in the zippered pouch of my flute cases. I bought 3 of them. If a portable, stable, stand is what you seek, seek no further.

This flute stand functions well, but it is not what I expected. It consists of two flat pieces of plastic the fit together to form a four-legged base. It does not look like the picture. There are no 'feet' on each leg. There is no conical piece at the base of the upright portion. The cross-section of the upright portion is not circular; it is shaped like a cross. Again, the stand works just fine, but it is way over priced for two pieces of plastic.
