Your cart is empty.The Ultra-fine grey 1” x 1” x 1/4” Mounted Interleaf Flap Wheel by Black Hawk Abrasives are the perfect abrasive for polishing small pipes, tubing, or in other compact, irregular surfaces. These 1 inch flapper wheels are designed with alternating gray, super fine, non-woven abrasive pads and high grit aluminum oxide sanding sheets in a fan-like pattern around a center shank. This allows for some light sanding while polishing and provides give in tight corners and crevices. Use the 1" gray interleaf flap wheel on a drill or die grinder. (Fine: 400 grit – 600 grit)

These are great for removal of imperfections in most any type of material I’ve used them on. They can be as precise or as aggressive as you need them to be by adjusting the speed and pressure applied. Best of all, they last a long time time even when being aggressive with them! Word to the wise, be careful the first time using them. They remove more material than they seem to be removing. They leave such a fine finish it doesn’t appear they are removing much, but I assure you they are! Just pay attention. For example, they will even cut into carbide and Nikasil if you hover in the same spot too long.
