Levers do not fit correctly. Wiring is 3-prong, 1989 pw-50 is 4 prong. Not correct. Returned.

If I knew that: 1) the electric connection isn't plug and play with the stock plug configuration*, and 2) the there might be a screw thread that wouldn't tighten all the way thus not allowing the throttle to affix to the handlebar I wouldn't buy this product. I had to splice the wires and use the stock plug and I had to use the stock casing but with the this throttle's interiors part to ensure the throttle locked onto the handlebar. Lots of unnecessary work.

The connector coupler does not fit with the OEM coupler on the PW50. I cut the old coupler off and cut off the new one, then added the old one to the wire harness coming from the new one.

I think the wires inside throttle are backwards. The wires matched up in color but the OFF and START switch are backwards. I ended up just using the RUN and OFF wires. The plug connecters are also not the same. Had to splice and use my own MALE/FEMALE connectors.

For my son's pw50 the plug did not match but wires were color coded same as factory wires so I spliced them

Levers fit the stock bars ok, and the new grips are good. I couldn’t use the cutoff switch because the plug is different than that on my 2012 pw50.
