This was advertised as rubber 1/4 in thick. It was in fact more of a plastic like material that was 1/8 in or less in thickness. For my purpose I think it might work so rather than sending them back I will try cutting them up for mudflaps on my Gladiator. They are stiff and hard rather than the soft and rubbery I was looking for. Next set I will just go to the local truck supply and buy in person rather than unseen off the net.I am updating my review and adding 2 stars because of the honorable customer care of this seller. I did not seek out a refund for the product, but they contacted me and made that offer even though at this late date I had altered the product and it was not available to be returned. I will not cross them off my list for future purchases should they have a product I am looking for.

I used BHTOP Stainless Steel Straight Spring Loaded Mud Flap Hanger and BHTOP 2 Pcs24" Aluminum Reflector PlatesStrips to mount them.These are thick, heavy, and ready for installation directly.They've made a wonderful hundreds hours round trip with no signs of damage, wear, or tearing.they have worked flawlessly so far!! I trust this brand.The mud flap hanger and reflector plates strips worked great too .
