I actually bought these to put in some older stereo cabinets I had sitting around. After reading the specs (24hz is pretty crazy in a speaker) I felt these were as close as I was going to get to some vintage Altec-Lansing’s for a fraction of the cost. I run them stereo through my Denon receiver and my Pro-Ject turntable. The sound is incredible. Adjusted the crossover on the receiver to around 160hz. Punchy lows and crisp highs. Also sound great when used with surround sound for movies.Seller had them at my door in a couple of days. Great purchase!

Sound quality is great! I threw out a pair of old 6" intercom speakers that were almost falling out of the ceiling. Had to cut a larger hole, but using the template that was a breeze too. Paired this with a bluetooth micro power amp, an amazon smart plug, and some speaker wire, and these things practically run themselves. As other reviewers said, a little bright - but that's pretty easily adjustable on the amp. Swiveling midrange and tweeter helps too. It's possiböe you'd get better, more defined base in a more confined wall / ceiling space - I have a lot of open space right above them. Looki g forward to enjoying these on the patio this summer.

These speakers are well constructed and they sound crystal clear with good bass. I am using these for Dolby Atmos speakers and couldn't be anymore pleased with the sound from these speakers. You can buy more expensive speakers but I would suspect any improvement (if any) won't be noticed.

The mount ez, but they are a tad bright. I have open attic so I need to try putting some damping material over them to see if it will help the woofer some. The tweeter and midrange tilt about 30 degrees, so this helps some in getting more directive sound to the listener if you use these as front mains in home theater setup.

Excellent Sound, good packaging, nice grill covers, good instructions. Cut a little larger than the paper outline given, there is plenty of overlap by the rim of the speaker.

Very hard to find an inexpensive 10" ceiling speaker -- perfect for filling in a 8" speaker hole that was cut out incorrectly!!Sounds quite good even.

Love these speakers. Bought 4 of these about 4 years from a different vendor. I had saved the boxes and when I needed two more recently, I was pleased to see them on Amazon. They came promptly via Prime and I am very pleased with the sound that they produce. I have a pair each in the family room (as surround speakers), kitchen and living room. In the kitchen and living room they just produce ambient music when I am doing something else. Overall, great ceiling speakers with very tight bass and clean mid-ranges.
