No oil dampening at all, spring only! If you need a true oil damped shock, expect to pay more than $50 bucks

This is not a shock, more of a pogo stick. There is zero dampening from the "shock", which has approx. 1 1/2 inch of travel, when you turn the spring base all the way down there is absolutley no resistance to move the "shock" shaft in either direction.
