Package came in on Sunday, would have preferred a Friday delivery but can't hold that against seller.M3 bolts I ordered for 3D printer project fit perfectly into these inserts.Highly likely to order again if/when needed

I am new to using heat sinks, and after watching YouTube reviews on some similar heatsinks I decided to purchase. I needed something for an m3 bolt to screw into and was debating on whether or not to use these or try supergluing hex nuts. First thing I tried supergluing hex nuts (these weren't available to me yet so I did just for a test at-least), the fumes from the glue had irritated my tonsils (I was not thinking about ventilation because I thought I added such a small amount but that didn't matter) and the strength ranged from very strong to just barely strong at all. When I tried these, It took amazingly shorter time to install for position, and to use the soldering iron to push them in. It cooled in about 30 seconds to a minute and was SUPER SUPER strong (and there was no harmful fumes compared to superglue! I used PLA for both of the tests). So as far as I know, this is one of the best things that I know for 3d printing to hold bolts the strongest. I just bought 5 more 100x in bulk. Will never be using superglue for 3d printing ever again if I can help it.

Very easy to install with use of a soldering iron and some pressure applied to a 3d printed part. Used mostly with PLA parts for mating enclosures.

If you are still using captured nuts on your prints give these a shot. Incorporating them into your designs is fun, not much harder than captured hex nuts and once they're in, they stay in.

Easily melts into a 4mm hole in a 3d print, and holds way better than threading into the plastic.

I originally purchased these to build the Hero Me Gen6 and have no complaints. They were easy to put in with my soldering iron. I have used these for multiple projects and haven't experienced any issues with the insert slipping out or rotating.
