I didn't get the piston clips with it and thinking that it didn't need them because it didn't come with them I put it together now I still need the clips and a cylinder now..

Do not buy unless you have the ability to do some machining.I originally gave this two stars, after running for a bit I wasn’t liking the way it was running. I dug in to it and found that the rockers and camshaft weren’t getting oil and decided I would go back to the stock rockers and cam. For the hell of it I thought I would measure the lobes on the new cam and stock cam. Come to find out that the stock cam is 1mm bigger than the one that comes with the kit. Keep the stock valve train don’t use the one that comes with the kit

I have put many engines together but it would be nice to have an instruction sheet just for reference. There was a little defect on the camshaft but should not be a problem because of location. Seems to be good quality but time will tell after my son gets to beat on it next summer. We are restoring the bike over the winter...had it running since top end rebuild and the bike does have a good sound with the FMF exhaust and seems to pull hard for what it is.UPDATE!!! my son has been riding his XR100R hard with this top end kit and I must say we are very pleased with it. He has put so many tanks of gas thru his bike with this kit that we have lost count. We are keeping the oil changed and it is not lacking in performance from when we first installed it. I would recommend this kit to anyone as a good replacement and upgrade for the Honda XR100. Believe me when I say that my 13 year old son has tested this top end kit for durability. If you ask me he almost abuses the bike with every ride. But what can you say when he is grinning from ear to ear every time he is riding the crap out of his vintage 2000 XR100R...lol

Easy assembly but no instructions must have service manual and be ready to che all tolerances to ensure proper ring gap. So far so good only had to trim oil ring cage for proper fit.

Just got home from work gonna install this here in a little bit and maybe take it out to the woods if the jetting seems okay with the stock carb xr100r 2003 pz26 carb, also ordered a crf150f carb as ive been told those work really well aswell with the accelerator pump on that carburetorSuper tight fit but everything went together and it runs! Used stock carb for now but it does have a little more torque than before IMO
