It's not a bad product. If the unit wobbles after assembly just adjust the feet. It's a great space saver. It feels sturdy and heavy. The only two drawbacks are the screws for the arms that hold the bike up screw onto the frame so they end up scratching it. The other issue may be the brake cable that runs under the top tube may get caught in the support arms. If these don't bother you then I would recommend it.

Very decent rack, pretty stable. The adjustable feet supplied with it were trash though, the threads on one of them were damaged. I didn't try to contact the seller for a replacement foot since they were so awful even when functional. I picked up some m8 adjustable feet on amazon and they are fabulous! One thing i'd change up about the rack is i'd prefer a squishy sleeve over these hard plastic sliders. I might try to find a gel seatbelt sleeve and see how that works on the arms. Aside from that, it would be nice if the top and bottom sections locked together.

Great sturdiness and holds our mountain bikes pretty well (after a bit of experimentation with arm height). Assembly is fairly straightforward; just make sure to snug all the bolts after it's put together. Step 1 is a bit difficult without a partner since it's curved so you cant lay it flat to align. After that, easy peasy. Works great for our limited space.Mountain bikes take a bit of experimentation to get right since the cushions are more geared towards road bikes with a straight bar in the frame (see pic for cushion example). Still works well for MTBs. Our bikes are held in place where the fork meets the frame and then it's just a matter of cushioning wherever your frame meets the other raxgo leg.The cushions are geared for road bikes with a v notch in them for a thin top tube, but we still use them. May consider wrapping the arms in a cushion-y material to better accommodate the mountain bikes later. The bikes will stick out into the room by about how long your handlebars are. The stand's base will jut out less than that.Since we're renters, we're shy to mount stuff to the wall and this was a perfect solution.

It looks cool and works fine. Skethcy tho...Really seems that not a lot of refinement has gone into the product. A lot of people said that you can endlessly keep tightening the lower bolts because there is no end to the threads/easily wrappable metal that is hollow (or along those lines)... This is true. I wasn't sure when to stop tightening and I had warped mine a lot... but it's fine! (hopefully)How you fasten the position of the holder's arms is really sketchy too... Everytime you screw it in you permanently mark the metal, and there is no padding or anything between the screws and the main unit, it is literally metal screws holding on to the metal structure - which I am fine with, but you may not be.I'd say get it, cause it looks awesome, really does utilize vertical space and saves it too, and will likely do the job fine. It accommodates bicycles with fenders too, as there is no holding by the wheel. My criticism is really not much to me, as I kinda guessed it wouldn't be h"high-class" quality from a Chinese manufacturer or American shell company... the rich get richer...

I was looking for a bike rack to get both of my bikes off the ground. I didn't want my tires/rims touching the ground or stressed by using the rims on hooks. This rack fit the bill. Assembly is easy, especially if you have a 10mm ratchet wrench. But as others stated, make sure you have the right a left brackets correct. I downgraded the sturdiness by 1/2 star because although all the nuts are welded to the bracket, one of them holding the left angled support brace to the base leg broke free before I could tighten it (see photo), so now there is a bit of a wobble. The design: I like the engineering design, it minimizes the used floor space, if not for the broken nut I think the rack would be very stable. The cross bars on my bikes are angled and wide, they just fit on the rack. Rubber cradles are provided to prevent scratching the paint on your bike, great idea. I took another half point off for the finish of the support columns, there is a considerable amount poorly painted area were rust is already present. Some of you might have taken more points off for these hardware defects, so your mileage may vary. I will get a large metal screw to repair the broken nut/bolt and sand/paint the rust areas. If I had bought it in town I would have exchanged it, but mailing the whole thing back for an exchange is too much of a hassle. In conclusion, I like the design and hope it works out, but there are flaws.

There are very few occasions when I feel the need to actually take the time to sit down and do a quality review of a product because I like it (or dislike it) that much. This is one of those occasions. I. Love. This. Product. I love it.I have not owned a bicycle in years (I learned that adults can't say "bike" or people think you bought a motorcycle). Since this lovely global pandemic of viral illness shut down society, I've been home more than I have ever been in my entire life; I desperately needed a bike just to get out and have something to do.So, a few hundred dollars later and suddenly I had a new bike sitting in the middle of my very small one-bedroom apartment, and absolutely no idea where I would put it. I needed a product that could store the bike in such a way that would make it easily accessible while also out of the way and somewhat inconspicuous: I didn't want my little living room to feel like a storage closet. So I researched and tried one rack that was designed to lean against the wall. First, I had to decide where I would lean it: I have a lot of artwork that decorates the walls. I had to take down a large print and figure out where to relocate it. The rack turned out to be so flimsy and cheaply made that I wasn't even confident stepping away from my bike after placing it on the rack, which bent and seemed to strain underneath a mere 35 pounds of bike. Further, that piece of junk left scuffs on the walls and made me add the Magic Eraser to my next shopping list. But that's a review for another day. I returned the rack and bought this one. This rack, the RaxGo Free-Standing Bike Rack, was a total delight compared to the other rack I tried. In fact, I am completely satisfied, thrilled with this purchase. It has earned the five stars I'm leaving here; it was worth every penny. Take a look at the photo: the RaxGo Bike Storage Rack does not lean against the wall, so that beautiful view of Manhattan can stay right where it is! The rack is very sturdy; the manufacturer's posted weight limit is 90 lbs., or 45 per bike, but truthfully it could probably hold much more than that. It is designed for a maximum of two (2) bikes; the manufacturer advises to not attempt to place more than two bikes on the rack. Nowhere in the instructions does it suggest that a bike can be hung vertically (as mine is, in the photo), but the bike is suspended very naturally this way—there is no wobbling or uncertainty. The bike is very secure, and this positioning works best for my space. My one complaint with this product is its assembly. I am very good with tools and putting things together, but I found the instructions to be oversimplified and very unhelpful. To construct the rack, you require a 10mm ratchet; there is no way around it. That is something that really ought to be announced on the box but it was on PAGE 5 of the instructions that this tool is required. I had to go to the store and buy a basic ratchet with that size to finish the work. While handling the parts, I had to backtrack and correct pieces that I accidentally put on backwards because the images in the instructions are so poor. However, once the rack was finished, I was so impressed and pleased with how this rack secures and presents my bike that I do not deduct that fifth star over the frustrations of assembly. The other small concern is the handles that tighten the arms which support the weight of the bike: while the arms are steel, the handles to tighten the bolts that secure the arms are actually plastic. I would take care not to needlessly over-tighten, as I imagine the handles could crack. (Should the handle ever break, it would not cause the bike to fall—it would just be very annoying, as a wrench or screwdriver would then be needed to tighten and loosen the bolt.) But because there is no need for frequent loosening and tightening once you have the height adjusted for your bike, it should be fine.Overall, this is an awesome product that performs well, should last a long time, and is well worth the asking price. I highly recommend the RaxGo rack for your bike storage needs.
