This is a great sturdy lock. It’s easy to open and use. I like you can pick your code. It’s light weight yet functions well. It’s colorful and easy to install.

I didn't end up needing to use it, but I tested it out and it was a great lock. The combination style was really cool, and the coil seemed thick and unbreakable.

After one month my son said he couldn't get his lock to work. It was locked up at school so I had to go pick him up. Knowing my son, I figured it was user error. Nope, the lock didn't work anymore with the combination we had set. I literally grabbed it with my hands and broke it apart. No tools needed. The part that goes into the tumblers looks and feels like the cheap metal, almost plastic. What is a lock good for if you can break it apart with your hands! (I'm not that strong) Do not buy.

Purchased this bike lock for my son who has an e-bike. It is quite sturdy and I like that he was able to mount it to his bike. Setting the lock code was easy. The neon green is quite vibrant and my son loves it. Great purchase!

Basically, I needed a new bike lock for my scooter. I was "borrowing" one but then they asked for it back, so I was stuck without a lock. After a quick search, this was perfect, and I ordered one. Now, this bike lock is really really good. It's robust, strong, it will probably scare off most people looking to take your bike or scooter. Now, obviously there's better options for locks, but for a place with less crime than average, this is perfect.PROS:- Very robust design.- Comes with a mount - high quality. Mount won't break.- Nice snapping sound when turning dial - this is useful because it automatically goes to the center of the number (if you've had a combination lock without this feature before you'll know why this is good).- EASY combo change - took like 10 seconds to figure out.CONS:- This isn't a very light lock - good for security but bad if you're trying to manually bike.- Dials are pretty easy to fumble with - I have big fingers so this might not be a big problem for you. Now, all that being said, if you need a bike lock, BUY THIS ONE. Don't waste your time looking all over the internet for something that's cheaper. Just get this one, and you won't have to worry about anything breaking. Everything you see in the description, it does PERFECTLY. It won't break.

KEYSTP Bike Lock Cable is clearly sturdier than most competitors, with a smooth tumbler that you can set combination on, and noticeably heavier cable. Results in increased sense of security, but more resistant, stiffer cable you have to tug into position to secure bicycle.I am addicted to this style of mounted lock/cable, as you will perceive below: I bought one colorful, less expensive brand and the tumbler felt cheap, demonstrably so when it just froze in place (thankfully, during a ride, and not locked to a pole). My beef is not with KEYSTP-theirs is better than most, and still a bargain. Look closely at the third photo, showing another (different) brand. I already have a sizable collection of similar lock/cable products, ALL OF WHICH failed/broke within 1-2 years: The small plastic mushroom that connects the lock to the receiver (bolted onto your bike) invariably breaks off. The weight of the wagging cable, persistent torque of just riding around normally, without any undue trauma, just snaps the plastic. I predict KEYSTP lock tumbler & cable will last forever, but am just as certain that the small, plastic attachment piece will break. To clarify, this lock is still intact and functioning perfectly, but the use of molded plastic in this feature of a most useful product is a design flaw across all brands. I predict the manufacturer replacing this part with metal will be the clear choice (eventually).

OK, this isn't a chain lock, not a U-lock -- those weight 5 pounds or more and kind of ruin the biking experience. If your bike has to left in an accessible area overnight, get one of the heavy duty locks, but be aware a good thief can pick it or cut it. This one discourages casual thievery, which is all I'm looking for in my daily commuting biking. The lock is easy to set, it comes with a nice mount for your seat post, and it has five tumblers which makes it tougher to break than a 3- or 4-tumbler combination. Also, no need to add another key to your keyring.
