No idea how this little thing works for an actual Garmin, but it is an awesome mount for the XOSS G/G+. Solid retention over even the worst terrain, and the mount being permanently affixed to the bike instead of held on by o-rings offers extra peace of mind.

For such a low price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the mount. The plastic insert doesn't feel substantial, but I didn't have any problems with it and never had my Wahoo move after placing it. But 2 weeks ago I had a pretty impressive crash and the insert broke. I'm not blaming the mount for that, but I'm undecided on whether to replace it or not since it seems like a pretty vulnerable spot compared to using the ol' rubber band mount on the bars themselves. Besides, my aging eyes have a hard time reading the computer when on the stem anyway (it's pretty close- consider this), so the bar mount may be where I keep it.

Snug. Solid. Shipped quick. Holds my Wahoo ELEMNT well. I’m on a 29” FS MTB and this does not even come close to hitting my knees no matter how I’m sitting or standing. So, unless you’re on a bike with a really tight cockpit, I wouldn’t worry about those reviews.
