This review is for the "Billiard cue stick holder (Black, 4-Cue), 4-Cue Portable pool cue holder, Weighted and durable billiard cue holder, Pool stick holder" that I ordered via the Vine program. I run a pool team that plays in the local leagues, and it's hit or miss whether or not the venue has cue holders at the tables we're assigned, so I try to keep a couple of these on hand for the team to use. I have and use Q Claw branded cue holders, but this one looked good in the listings and the price was right, so I decided to give it a shot.I compared this holder to the Q Claw holders I have and noticed it's very similar in size and weight based on the number of cues it will support. Weight is an issue since this will be carried in the accessories pouch on a pool cue bag, so I weighed each of my holders and calculated the weight per cue slot of each.My Q Claw 3-cue weighs 15.375oz or 5.125oz per cue supported. My Q Claw 5-cue weighs 27.625oz or 5.525oz per cue supported. This holder weighs 23.75oz or 5.94oz per cue supported. So, this holder is a bit heavier per cue than the Q Claw ones I have. It's not enough to deter me from carrying this on a regular basis, but worth noting. I also noticed that the cues are spaced a bit closer together on this holder than the Q Claw meaning a bit of care must be taken when propping up a cue or taking one out of a full holder. I prefer the spacing on the Q Claw models. The holder is injection molded from a rubber-substance and is very stable. It also has molded-in slots for holding chalk; one each for a cube, a round, and an octagonal chalk so it's compatible with the classic chalks as well as the newer chalks that have hit the market. It should be noted that it will only hold a bare chalk, so if you use a chalk holder, these slots won't work.I'm not terribly fond of the inlaid brand badge, but at least it's fairly understated and not garish. The seams from the injection molding process could be a bit cleaner as there are a few rough areas of flashing left over. These can easily be trimmed with a sharp blade, but I'd prefer to have them better cleaned up at the factory, especially since these seams do run through the cue slots and will rub on the cues.Even with my small complaints above, this is a quality cue holder and will definitely hold up to years of use.
