Bilstein never disappoints. The design is different from stock but fits perfectly. It actually fits and clears other suspension parts better than the stock unit.

Part functions much better than OE unit with 100k on it. Removal of original was the hardest part, part works great and install was straightforward.

Incorrect Answer regarding if this shock stabilizer fits a 2005 F350 4x4 stock suspension.IT DOES NOT!!The 'SELLER' replied in August of 2018 it did, and that is false! The passenger side must have the grommet o ring mount for a bolt to go thru, not the threaded shaft end.Seller had promised to help resolve this mix-up days ago but has become non respondent now.Unfortunately with the winter I couldn't get to work on the truck until it warmed up and am now past the AtoZ guarantee. All I want is the seller to swap it out for the Bilstein that has the right connections on both ends and proper length and drawIf he doesn't, then he is a pi&^ poor seller here on Amazon.

Shipped and in my hands less than 24hrs. Took 15min to put in just basic tools. Product is heavier and beefier than the Monroe one I removed. Build quality seems top notch. Improved bump steer immensely on my F250 111k miles.

I wrapped my 2005 Superduty with Bilstein shocks last year. I decided to check my factory steering stabilizer and sure enough, it was completely worn out. I did a little digging to find the exact fit for my truck and this fit absolutely perfectly. I noticed immediate steering response. Things feel much better and tighter. I also run a dual stabilizer kit from another brand and I know those shocks are probably worn out as well but will be adding the Bilstein's into that setup tomorrow. I'm a Bilstein fan for life. Not to mention they send some pretty sweet stickers with each order!

I have installed Bilstein on a few trucks now, this is my first steering stabalizer. It did not mount on the exsisting adapter that ford has, you have to drive it out and install the shock directly to the steering bar, but it seems to work just fine.

I have a 2006 F250 6.0L Lariat with 131k miles on it. I am not one to abuse equipment, however, I do live on a gravel road about four miles from asphalt. Being that it's a moderately heavy truck that travels down washboard and potholes all four seasons, my suspension has worn out. I recently ordered a set of Bilstein 5100 series shocks to replace the Ranchos, which I'm not overly fond of. I bought the matching steering stabilizer on a whim, I might as well change that out since I'm replacing all four shocks. Man, what a difference. The steering stabilizer is significantly beefier than the stock shock, which is closer in resemblance to something you'd find on a screen door. Well worth the $90ish. If you're disappointed with this product, then you either got a defective piece or you didn't need to replace it in the first place.

MY truck is an 06' with 54000 miles and I was reluctant to mess with it because of the low mileage. After installing all 4 Bilstein shocks, I was so pleased I figured this couldn't hurt. The difference is amazing! First of all, the factory unit exploded when I compressed it but hand after removal. Not sure if thats a bad thing, but it can't be good. The new unit made the truck feel totally different. With such low miles, I thought it was fine and already felt like a new truck...was I wrong. This feels like driving a new sedan not a truck. This is one of those upgrades that makes a tremendous difference and clearly point out there is a design issue with the factory part.Installation took about an 1-1/2 hour. Never took the tires off or truck off the ground. Didn't use air tools and just needed wrenches and sockets.

I have a 2006 F-350 4x4... so it came with a single factory steering stabilizer "shock". After 70k miles, it was completely toast. When we pulled it and tested it... it wouldn't rebound after being compressed... AT ALL. Absolute garbage. This Bilstein completely transformed the steering feel eliminated most of the vibrations and feedback. My truck is stock F350 ride height (not even leveled), but with 35" Toyo MTs. Before going over a pothole was quite an "adventure", whereas now it's completely manageable. Install was a piece of cake... just have your torque wrench ready.Bottom line: Buy it - install it - be happy with it. I wouldn't even worry about a dual-stabilizer unit that so many talk about... I can't imagine the front end being too much more planted than this.
