I'm using these on a SIM router and it is working very well. I would like if it had a magnet mount since I do tend to use it in portable situations. I mean the entire purpose of having a remote router that is completely wireless is to be able to travel with it so I think magnets or stickers with mounts that it could be removed from when I take it to a hotel or remote cabin would be ideal. Under no circumstances would I need it mounted with screws.

I installed these on a couple spy point cameras that didn’t get service in the locations I wanted them. It actually made a difference! I used zip ties to secure the antenna to the trees but these come with a bracket as well. Made a considerable difference in signal strength. It comes with an adapter for different kinds of hook ups. The cord is plenty long as well. For the price I paid I’m happy.

They appear to work okay - they aren't 'high gain', if that is the correct term. The plastic base of the antenna is rather fragile - I broke one in half, but not the wire, and bound it up with a rubber boot. It dangles a bit and looks rather bad, but still works.

Considering how small and whimpy these antennas are, I found the receive signal to be better than expected. You have to understand what they are and are not. They are flexible and shorter than I would have thought. The L bracket mount is fine, just need to adapt that to your installation. My main objection is the 10ft long RG174 cable which is pretty lossy at these RF frequencies. Would have been MUCH better to have an RG58 option, which is why I ended up using a different product. To use these I plan to cut the RG174 and install my own SMA (what a pain that will be) then adapt to RG58 for the rest of the cable run.

Added this to a Reolink 4g PTZ camera. It does not help at all. I have 2 of the same cameras, on 25 foot poles about 40 feet apart on the highest elevation land around nothing blocking anything. The short antenna that comes with it works great, these do nothing. It will not play a stream hardly at all. I bought these because I put weather domes over them and had to get a remote antenna so the camera could fit under the done. I will look for a better option or I guess try to just have the stock antenna pointing down.

This was a test fpr my zte cellular signal internet modem from Telus . Its hard to get a signal inside the house so this alowed. It to have antenna outsode while the modem inside since it doesn't kiek sunlight or water . I will be purchasing the larger flat fin looking types now that this worked they should work even better. One note the 10' cords it says it comes with are not 10' its 2- 5 ' lengths that make up 10'
